c'mon Frances... you can't shy away from patrisan smackdown in the comments section on election day, and then "come out" only when your candidate wins... be proud of your vote when you cast it regardless of who wins!

As if anyone who knows you could not have figured out your party affiliation. Your left-leaning ways must have come from your mother.
My real question is what were the deleted commnents.

steve said...

eh... those were mine... I had about 8 grammatical errors in my first post. I tried to correct them but had 4 more in a second comment. I finally gave up and deleted both and started over. Sorry - no juicy conspiracies in the Francesphere today.

Well, Steve, if that is the case, then we will introduce you to a small example of the way Frances was raised (which may give you some insight into Frances' psyche). Please note that, in your first comment, "patrison" probably should be "partisan." Yes, our family does in fact debate grammar, word usage and spelling.

wait a second... I only know Frances because I met her family first... I know her parents and brother - and having said that, I may have just figured out who you are, popster. And when you click on my username and see who I am, you'll no doubt shake your head and think "huh, that figures". Regarding my spelling and grammar... well, I am apparently disabled in those areas. As if removing two posts for errors wasn't bad enough, I didn't even get it right on my third. No doubt this post is equally rife with errors.

hey dad and steve, your little battle of wits is making my look super popular with all these comments on my post. thanks!

Steve? I thought you were more literate than your postings suggest.

Frances will be in town for Thanksgiving, so perhaps we need to set up a get-together.

Frances, either you have gone totally Reggae on me, or the "my" in your last posting should be "me" (though going Reggae would be an interesting topic of discussion).

yah mahn. wait til you be seein 'er new corn rolls mahn.

Indeed we should get together. (not that we need to wait for HER to come to town.)

no, i have not gone reggae. maybe comments on this particular post are doomed to grammatical failure? (unless, of course, you are dad.) (or kate.)
